Why was there so many empty seats , yet i have been trying for months to get a ticket and the planner on the club website has had it sold out months ago .
Everytime i checked it was still sold out ,hard to believe that so many who had tickets just decided to give it a miss on the day .
Its a bit frustrating for people like me who would have been there had the tickets been available
Spot on mate. That will be the media line, much as it was after both Arse games. Fact is we are just exceptionally good at nullifying teams.
Expect to see the media playing down our performances and choosing to focus on the opposition, but we really shouldn't.
Thanks - but apparently not. Teams can turn it off and on against us at will. If we score they can suddenly up their levels and get at us. Neville seems to be setting the agenda.Spot on mate.
I don’t know. There must have been at least 700-1000 empty seats today though.Maybe more.
FS was the worst but there were loads in the upper tiers too.
Maybe over protective parents not wanting to subjec their little darlings to the cold in the FS. Who knows.
Maybe it was people who couldn’t get there because of the weather. All the train companies were still telling people not to travel today as were the highways agency. There was virtually a whole row empty in the Colin Bell stand. The empty seats weren't the odd one scattered around the ground, a fair few chunks together were free which is strange.

Rows of empty seats would also make sense for people who not only sit together but travel together.
I think the answer is - similar to the Emirates on Thursday - Arse said 58,420 seats sold - but crowd was probably 15,000 short. Why was there so many empty seats , yet i have been trying for months to get a ticket and the planner on the club website has had it sold out months ago .

THE blocks of empty seats annoyed me today having to watch at home on tv. Only on Thursday I was in a position to attend after a work job was cancelled last minute but sold out on the website. A few empties ok, but whole blocks/rows is galling.Lots of empties everywhere. I was quite surprised given the game. Maybe the weather had put a few off travelling or trying to travel
To be honest , i have been looking on the planner for tickets for this match for a few months and each time the planner has shown limited seats available in some parts of the ground , but when you click on the part of the ground where seats are supposedly available there is none , i have known this to happen before , but its usually down to a few tickets becoming available and getting snapped up immediately , but with the Chelsea game this has been the same for a few months now , just wondering if its possibly a glitch in the system , seems strange so many rows and seats together are unsold for a big game such as todays.I think the answer is - similar to the Emirates on Thursday - Arse said 58,420 seats sold - but crowd was probably 15,000 short.
City say they sell 54,000 + - some stay away. Very frustrating for people like you - who want to go.
I thought they were a disgrace too, but we shouldn't focus on that.Possibly the worst, most gutless performance I've ever seen by an opposition tbh. We played well enough, but frankly had it very, very easy and barely had to get above walking pace. Good to see the attackers looking lively again and it's a great 3 points, but honestly Chelsea should be ashamed of themselves for that.
