Truly wonderful performance from the best team in the League. Before the game I thought it would be a close game possibly 1 goal in it, but what do I know.

If we keep this level of performance for the rest of the season we should win the League, just need Stretford to beat the Scousers and we are level with the same games played.

Sergio what a legend and it is incredible how he has adapted his game under Pep, bought into his philosophy and become a better player.

Wow,and I have to hold my hand up with inclusion of zinchenko on the pre match thread I gotta all wrong and apologise,zinchenko along with ten other players were fantastic,what can be said about aguero I’m shaking my head here as I write this just an unbelievable player,sterling every time he got the ball and ran they were absolutely shitting it,we just need to keep winning and hope the scousers slip up again,even a draw at the rags followed by a draw at Everton would do as long as we win ...

Just superb. Nothing else needs to be said on the performance.

End of the day It's just 3 points, just the same as if we had scrapped a 1-0 win via a deflected own goal, in the 95th minute and just the same as liverpool got yestetday but if a game could ever be more than 3 points it was that. Breath taking first 25 minutes to assert our dominance, issue the challenge and bulk up that goal difference column which is now as good as an extra point.

Liverpool have a fortnight without a league game now to sit in second and dwell on what we've just done to another top 6 team who had their full strength side available. They'll have be looking at our fixtures and earmarked this game along with spurs and united as games where we could realistically expect to drop points and we go and do that! All pressure on them now, they've got to go to old Trafford and get something, less so because of the points tally of both sides but just for their momentum, if they lose there after the week we've just had allowing us to take top spot outright it will crush them psychologically.

I think he's been putting up goal and assist numbers like the best in the world for 1 1/2 seasons now, but the difference in the last 6 months is that he now really looks like it on the pitch too. He has the swagger of a world class player, he knows when he has a defender on toast and he will make it count time after time, he ran at that ball for the first goal like there was 0% chance it was going anywhere but in the net.

Last season he got the goals, but he still looked a bit insecure, a bit like he was wondering if the good form in front of goal would end. Now he knows this is his level.

PEP I need @21LVA. I miss him when he’s not playing, but sometimes i don’t play @DeBruyneKev or Sergio. David played the last two games and was key, he was incredible. We have a lot of games and a lot of players.

PEP I know what (Sarri) wants to do. My first year was difficult too. It needs time and only depends of the believers and owners. The main reason I came to City was Txiki and the chairman understood me. That’s why I’m enjoying it here in Manchester.
