is it only me that was mildly disapointed but could see he was trying to head fuck tuchel.im really not to bothered as it fucks dippers up a bit,the team we play in the final will be different gravy.chavs are good and if we arnt at it will beat us.but if our a team is on it we will be picking big ears up.

I fully agree but that didn’t happen and Mendy spring back to his feet like a cat and caught it and it looked foolish.

It is just the risk you take with that kind of finish.. will always look far, far worse than spanking the ball over the bar.. just because of the nature of the attempt and the audacity involved. In reality though it’s no worse a miss.

Not that frustrated with Aguero doing a panenka. He’s done enough for the club. I’m more seething when Mahrez missed that penalty against liverpool.

Now. Mendy. Time to put him in the market. Not only was he pedestrian in defending, he also exposed Ake who had to 2-3 players he had to mark.

Ake himself is not world class, and he hasnt played many games after his injury, but Mendy wasn’t helping at all with his sloppy runs on the left flank, getting caught out and losing the ball and leaving Ake with an almost impossible task to block the attack.

Me too.

I actually understand the need for rotation.

Although not today,as we were not playing again until next Friday.

We are rotating first team players for players who are not good enough.

You can almost guarantee we will lose the game every time Pep does one of his Ranieri on steroids mass rotations.

It is ridiculous.

We literally rotate for a guaranteed nailed on defeat.

Wrong side and gives chelsea a big psychological advantage now in the final, TT has Peps number a little.
Absolutely gutted and sickening after the week we have had, feels like this is taking forever.
 
Sergio’s penalty miss was awful but in mitigation he obviously saw the keeper move and tried something clever. If it had come off we’d all have been saying he’s a genius. Besides that, he owes us nothing after his ten years of brilliant service.

Mendy, on the other hand......

Wasnt a good game ,I don't blame Pep , would have been 2-0 up if Sergio had scored .
Would have been a different game 2nd half.
People dont half get worked up , the league is ours , just a bit later rather than sooner.
Best bit of the day was the meet up with fans when the coach went past, I can STILL Smell the smoke bombs.
Was suited and booted ready to go again at 7.30 , oh well next weekend will do .
