City need to go fairly strong for this match for two reasons:

1. To close out the Premier League title.
2. To set down a marker for the Champions League final.

City played a weakened team against Chelsea in the FA Cup (with good reason) and lost out as a consequence. There is no good reason to to make lots of changes for this match. OK some could do with a rest and Stones is suspended, so I would go for a maximum of three changes.

I would then make another three to four changes for the match against Newcastle. Similarily the remaining Premier League matches at Brighton and at home to Everton, can be used to give match time to Ake, Aguero, Jesus, Torres, Mendy, etc. We may see a few juniors getting sub appearances.

what do we do on saturday, go full strength and try and put a marker down or keep our cards close to our chest, will pep stick or twist, be interesting to see

Sorry, but I find this whole “keep the squad happy and motivated” thing total nonsense.
We are talking about 25 professionals who so far all contributed to the succes we had. They fully well know they have to be ready every game. As a starter or as a sub coming on or not used. Players not happy or motivated we can easily do without. So far I doubt we have had a player that is not happy or motivated.
Sane and Boatheng top of my head but seriously if the players are happy for not getting picked then there’s a huge problem.

Wow. People actually thinking this match will have any bearing whatsoever on the CL Final: Chould get a job with BT.

I take your point. It won't have much bearing. Except that the team they play will almost certainly be very similar, if not identical, to the one they play in Istanbul. We have the luxury of that not being the case for us.
