Our players were kicked all night against psg so this was expected. Even if we don't win or even lose today we will be champions next time when we take field as Rags play 3 times in 6 days and they aren't winning all.even if our midfield gets overrun we have enough at back to sniff out onslaught

People have been saying that for the last few months.

Villa away. An injury and Newcastle beaten Leicester. And a off-form Liverpool. The Rags could easily win their next 3 games. Then Fulham and Wolves. 5 wins there.

I kind of get this level of rotation, even if people are mad.

Yes, the next game is 6 days away, but thr way I see it:

Newcastle: Full Strength squad who are now fully rested, should win.

Brighton: Rotate again.

Everton: Full strength squad again.

He probably wants to end the season with his full strength squad playing, because the Chelsea game is then 6 days away. I don't think he'd rotate against Everton and play full strength against Brighton, because then the game is 11 days and that's actually TOO long.

It’s not the end of the world as we have enough games to get over the line. But to me there are too many changes against a team that will be well organised. Unless Chelsea have an off night it will be tomorrow at the earlier till we win he league. Hope I am wrong. I often am.

Chelsea will be very defensive ,park the bus etc . We are quite defensive too . All expected. A draw will actually do us and if we get the win ,well Pep picked a great team didn't he?
Expect a few big guns on by 60 mins though if it starts to go wrong and we can't deal with their counter attack.

2.14 , 2.16, doesn't matter, if odd compilers thought we would play our strongest line up we would have been 8/13, or 1/2, as we will be for a final on a neutral ground rather than the Etihad.

my point is you argued that City would drift upon the news-they have in fact shortened (2.08) . the drift occurred earlier when the selection prob leaked.

The players won't be getting 3 weeks off regardless. They'll get a bit of rest but they each need to play some minutes before the final to keep match sharp.
