If they win against real we need to put strong team out and show them what we are because it will be a big confidence booster if we beat them .
Difficult one this if chavs do go through tonight, I reckon they will use this weekend to do a dummy run of how they will approach playing us in the CL final

Therefore we may see Pep change it so we keep them guessing

I think that you should field the strongest possible team against Chelsea and wrap the league up. On the other side I can understand Pep not willing to give Tuchel food for thoughts ahead an eventual CL final.

I think both Pep and Tuchel will approach Saturday's game as exactly what it is- a PL game with respective objectives (winning the PL and consolidating top four). I don't think the CL Final will influence either lineups or or tactics.

Btw, how poor are Real Madrid?

aye...rather play the long game here & Pep not show his cards too early.

They are a pretty good team, but player for player I think our quality is higher - both playing full strength teams I believe we'd have the edge.

Bear then Saturday. Let them see us win the league.
mentally already in their minds for the final.

Thing is that since Tuchel took command, they're very well organized and just don't concede. Their attack is still in the works but their manager is tactically very astute. He'd learn plenty if he faces your starting XI this weekend.

It will be a tough one either way.

They had a much easier run to the Final than we did. We are 19 points clear of them in the league. We roasted them at Stamford Bridge not that long ago. They got hammered by West Brom recently. The only counterpoint is they beat our second XI who had no experience playing together 1-0.

PSG are better than Chelsea and Dortmund are prob at least their equal

We still have to play very well to win, but we are never going to have a better chance at the CL. If we'd been offered a FInal vs Chelsea at the start of the season, who wouldn't have bitten the hand off for that?

chelsea are a different animal now to the team that started the season. but yeah i get what you're saying!

They are the same as when West Brom took them apart.
Good point & that game showed one way to beat them.

Fast transitions going forward rather than playing from side to side as this allows Chelsea to recover & reorganise which as we’ve found out earlier are tough to break down.

Ederson

Cancelo
Ake
Laporte
Mendy

Torres
Rodri
Bernardo
Sterling

Sergio
Jesus

They need this game more than we do, play this team and see what happens.

Let's get the title wrapped up here lads, going to be a very difficult game though. Interesting team selection coming up, do we play the same team as we did against PSG or mix and match. I'll go for: Ederson, Cancelo, Mendy, Stones, Laporte, Rodri, Gundogan, Torres, Sterling, Aguero, Jesus

City 2 Chelsea 1
