Despite how shit we were v PSgG, half of that team will be too shagged to play Saturday plus the now more important Brugge game following Chelsea.
Bet we don’t see Haaland, Dias, KDB and Bernado
 
Marmoush is definitely going to start. Guardiola would be crazy not to play him right away. It finally looks like we have another goal-scoring threat in the squad. Players like him need to be in the starting 11.

Edersons passing is irrelevant these days. As we just normally lose it when it's punted out wide or up top. So Ortega gets the nod from me.

100% agreed that O’Reilly should get a game and if not McAtee fitted in somewhere

And our midfield of Gundo, Bernie, Kova or KDB is solid yeah.

I don’t think we’ll get hammered, I just don’t think we’ll come out of this next run in good shape. Perhaps with Marmoush coming in it might give us a fresh spark. We could also do with Bobb being in available in the next few weeks.
 
The starting 11 is irrelevant if Pep continues with the same setup. There's no combination of players that can do what he's asking for to a level above relegation fodder.

Pep needs to face reality and use the players that we have in the best way possible and not continue to try and do something we cannot do. Pep himself even says we cannot do it yet he sets us up to try, why? Find another way of winning.

We cannot control games. We cannot beat presses and we certainly cannot put on an effective front press ourselves. The only way we will win games against good sides is to stop actively exposing our weaknesses.

The side needs to drop into a tighter 2 block defence out of possession so that we are not constantly playing with 4 players down out of possession and we need to play in a high tempo direct manner on the ball.

For numerous games now all our best attacks have been when we attack quickly or on the counter, we've got the world's best striker who loves to run in behind, we've got pacy and tricky wingers who specialise in beating their man 1v1, we've got the creativity and goalscoring ability of kdb and foden, that's a lethal front line if allowed to play in a more direct manner. everything else should be about staying tight and compact and let whatever combination of players from that list run havoc.

dias looks like he went off with a knock so throw the new kids in, and stones at rb as nunes and akanji cannot be trusted to sray solid for 60 mins never mind 90

and no more slow players in the DM role sorry kova but you belong more forward playing where foden is same with gundo

Play the new lads. They must play from now on, we are awful at the back anyway, so might as well give them the vital experience for the future.

Marmoush with Haaland up front as well.

Chelsea have had 48 hours rest more our team is knackered injured low in confidence!


We need Marmoush in the squad Saturday and at least one of our new defenders !

Don’t really care whether it is Kovacic or Gundogan in the middle. Neither good enough for the role, but either might be ok if they’ve got others close to them.

Throw the new guys in - nothing to lose, and might just give us a spark.

Above all else: please not the same, nonsense 4-2-4 …
