Soz was way off, when I say Walker started thought it would be very strong.

They'll be working their bollocks off in training. Today is just a chance for players who have played a lot of games a chance to rest and then I'm sure they'll feature in the last 2 of the season to tick over

I just remember the last time we started putting out stupid line ups out against Chelsea before a CL final. I'm not suggesting he plays Kev and Rodri for 95 minutes, but no need to make such sweeping changes.

Bringing in Julian for Kev, Laporte for Stones, Phillips for Rodri, Phil & Riyadh for Jack and Bernardo, Rico for Walker. Still rests all our key players.

Good. I'm genuinely glad for the atmosphere. Do I need to say that I hope I'm wrong? It's not that they're bad players, as such. But they simply don't know each other, other than on the training pitch (which is never the same thing as the blood and thunder of a match).
We'll see…

It still pisses me off when I think about how we bottled that 2017/18 game to seal the title against United after being 2-0 up.

This should be a coronation and we should be desperate to win our final home game for the fans.

Rest them in the away matches.
Anyway just my opinion so we'll see.

We play again in 3 days,no rhythm will be broken and no complacency will set in.

Resting the first 11 today is entirely sensible.

We do like offering Chelsea charity though.......;-)

I thought our A team would start today and next weekend to maintain momentum but get them down to 1 match a week.

Also think this could blow up in his face down the line. He did this at Bayern twice.

Yeah he had history for doing it at Bayern too
Hopefully he has learned and they'll get more time in the next 2 matches. Can't just put them on ice and expect them to turn up on final day.
