After 'a couple of friendlies in London' (kudos Craig Burley), it'll be nice to return to the Etihad and a tougher challenge. Will Conte go with Willian, Hazard, and Pedro, or will he add height and give Morata or Giroud a run out? They complained about coming off the back of a trip to Atletico Madrid when we won there, but they've had the week off, unlike us, so they should be fresh and have no excuses.

Aguero missed the win at Stamford Bridge, but it's hard to see him not starting this one, and for once we should have all forward players available. Patch up the wounded and go for it.

Smash these bastards hopefully and then start some rotation. After the week the team has had so far these guys deserve to play! Only taking Danilo out as zinchenko is abit quicker and Chelsea have pace on wide

Can't see any reason to change unless Sterling is fit. Even then its a toss up.

Actually, I would still choose Bernard S. even if Sterling is fit. It's the best kind of competition to have – two players both playing at the top of their game.
It was something of a bore to watch, but I'm now absolutely certain that the team was husbanding its energy in the second half last night, in view of this one.

Same again ,with Sterling back on the bench , as others have posted we can rotate against Basle and give Stones , Laporte, Zinchenko Sterling , Foden , Diaz , Bravo and others some valuable game time , expect a narrow victory with Conte setting up his team to nick a point and failing.

I really think Kev needs a rest he’s looking exhausted and we need him for champs league. Not sure why he played so much last night.

Has he actually played every game this season ? I don’t recall him not playing.

this will be a tougher game than most think, Chelsea will be up for this unlike utd game and we are both attacking team. Conte has to go for it they need the points so this will be open
