If you want to pay respects to the queen by not attending a football match then however odd that would seem to me as a form of mourning it's not for me to say how you deal with something so close and dear to your heart but then just don't go. Anyone else who isn't bothered or wishes to mourn or pay their respects in a different way should be allowed to attend a football match rather than have this enforced upon them.
 
The only sensible move is not to play on the day of the funeral. I suppose a lot depends on which day that is. It could be a Monday which would have little impact or a Saturday (as with Princess Diana). Hopefully they will play tomorrow.

Respect, yes, but, it looks like 3 weeks of repetetive shit to come.
