They’ve already paid their respects by cancelling yesterday’s play, that’s how it works. If there were two rounds of football, say Saturday and Tuesday night, the first would be cancelled, the second would go ahead.

I don't think many can quite comprehend what a huge moment in time this is, irrespective of your own viewpoint.

It's bigger than any sport, stuff our great grandchildren will be reading about in school 100 years from now.

I think it more likely children will be reading about how the monarchy was abolished in a hundred years tbh rather than the momentous events surrounding the death of Elizabeth II.

But there was 4 games in the PL due tomorrow,so unless they've made the decision as a matchweek for both Saturday and Sunday games to be off,(which they probably have),it would of been interesting to see if there was games due to be played in the PL Tuesday and Wednesday,we will never know I suppose now.

Yes, those games are part of the same round of games, though, although actually the football authorities have just said games won’t go ahead from 9th - 11th so they can resume Monday onwards.
