Bernardo narrowly edges it from Rodri for me
If he somehow passes the drug test Bernardo.
Bernardo is made for the deep lying play maker, Modric, role for us. Modric was last decade’s top player doing that; Bernardo has always been superb doing it for us (Liverpool at home, Arsenal away, Leicester at home, today… over the years) and that should be his position ongoing. As I said at about 90 minutes, “Bernardo, I fucking love you!”
Rodri MASTERCLASS as a DM, with Bernardo playing as a “free DM” alongside.
Had to go with the Energizer Bunny, though. Best midfield performance of ANY City player in a long time!
And, let’s not forget THE CITY FANS, who were MAGNIFICENT the whole game! You’d have thought we were the ones with 40,000 in the stadium!!
I doff my cap to the traveling fans.
BRILLIANT!!!
He got short changed by Laporte to.Special mention for Dias, there was a reason Lukaku stayed away from him as much as he could.
My exact sentiment.Bernardo, Cancelo and Rodri were all absolutely superb, but Silva just edges it.
Prepared to give him the benefit of the doubt due to the injury, but agree. Dias is some boyHe got short changed by Laporte to.
Yeah, Kevin’s passing wa poor at times, but in his defence, he’s still getting up to speed after injury.Didnt think Kev was, but Bernado, Mr perpetual motion, MOM easy for me.
