Foden doing well here, but apart from a couple of good things in the first half, I didn’t think he was better than anybody really. Haaland for me, ably supported by Bernardo & Rodri. The rest were no better than average and a couple were surprisingly well below par and it was they that cost us the game.

Foden, he was magnificent, but the ball didn’t run for him. The conditions weren’t great, heavy rain which always make control mor tricky, but on another day I think Phil would have made the difference. Also think the late penalty conceded by Dias would not have happened in drier conditions

Their forward did well tbf. Holding his nerve for a late cup back. Drew in Dias. Dias might have thought about trying to get over and shepherd but he realised he was too far away so had to. Do a 'Dunney''

Rodri, just edging out Foden, Akanji and the Meat Shield. Sterling and Palmer were better than anything in a City shirt though, particularly galling given that the former played like a complete constable every time he had to go back to Anfield
I must’ve watched a different match. Rodri MOTM and Palmer better than all ours?
