Without reading back, has the penalty been mentioned?

Probably been forgotten cos it was missed and would have been irrelevant if scored

But Yet another absolutely absurd non penalty awarded against us !!

Where will this end... Probably with the red dippers being gifted on in the 89th minute next Sunday with the scores 0-0

Kompany could have started & done calf muscle again, Aguero similar, and we still could have ended up losing to a strong Chelsea side. He made a choice, only time will tell if it was worth it. On a positive note, both Garcia's showed enough to be optimistic about them and I don't think we need to go spending a fortune on Stones either.

I think the only goal he was fault for was the free-kick.

This. Cab was not the problem, but the lads in front of him.
Cab is good enough for the final with a much stronger back 4 supporting him.
And he did show again he is a better penalty killer. Joe is always moving too early.

Well, at least no replay and no more FA cup games this season. Ok.
No more injuries.
Good to see the kids doing quite well at a difficult place.
Kolarov simply not even good enough for this team today. What a captain...
Now we need 2 draws minimum and a cup to show today's lineup has been the right strategy.

I don't mind the defeat today too much. But giving it away for free just after HT really hurts. Being caught on the break in this match should never have happened. Why didn't they play on like 1st half and just wait a bit longer???

Why do they need a rest for fuck's sake?

Athletes have races every 3 or 4 days in competition season, tennis players play games every 3 or 4 days during competition season, often for 3 and 4 hours a game. This 'rest' things is a complete joke IMO. Do rugby players get rested? Do they fuck!

The biggest problem is not the actual games but more the recovery, if they run 10 miles today and then usually have a morning session tomorrow with the physio's to help them recover and not get injured. Instead they will be boarding a 6 hour flight on a crampt plane thus adding more fatigue right before a champions league game in horrible conditions on a terrible pitch.

Great decision to blood a load of kids, I mean 3-0 against Hull in the league cup and we bring Demechelis on, we really are taking the piss with this

Bit disappointed with Barker, expected a lot from him this season.

I thought he did well in the limited time he had. Looked dangerous on a couple of occasions, forced a couple of corners, beat his man with a lovely touch on the chest in the last couple of minutes. What exactly did you expect from him today?

The moaning of some on here is reaching rag-like entitlement proportions.

Fucking hell, we have 13 - yes, 13 - fit players with VK and Merlin both working their way back to fitness.

If the game had been scheduled for yesterday, then maybe Pellers would have picked a stronger lineup, but what would the moaners have said if Vinnie, Kun or Silva had been injured?

Give it a rest, for fuck's sake!

So you actually think City are flying Easyjet or similar to be travelling cramped up

No issues with today but now he needs to deliver in the next two games

Like I said in another thread. Fuck the BBC and FUCK the FA. It will have a bigger impact for the future of the club if we progress further in the Champions League than it would if we had gone through to the next round of the FA Cup.

I agree I was a bit disappointed with his first 15 minutes or so, I felt he come on with his head down because he didn't start but then he got into the game a lot more, still feel he has a long way to go.

He's trying to hard, he should have started and just had one up front, he gets limited time on the pitch under this manager-unfairly in my opinion.
Ten minutes here and there is no good to a player like him, thank fuck we have a manager coming in who will utilise these lads in lower pressure scenarios.

Very proud of the way the kids played today, against ( on their day, and this was their day) one of the best teams in Europe. The skill, energy and commitment of the EDS lads was terrific. The result was as expected given the ridiculous scheduling in favour of the London clubs and Pellers job description being to progress in CL. Proud to be a Blue today and looking forward to our kids destroying PL teams in years to come ( given a decent goalkeeper, obviously!)

This all day long!
