Always thought of Dean as one of the better prem league refs.. But he was absolutely dire today.

Gave us nothing all game. Couldnt wait to send Zabba off. Disgraceful tactics by Chelsea. Costa shudda bin sent off, for continually diving, long before Zabba's tackle.

Wish we would mix it up, & be a bit more streetwise at times though, like to see us run directly at individual defenders more, in order to draw fouls & get opponents booked or sent off, (Vis a vis Chelsea today) rather than continually trying to pass thru teams.

Dean didn't get too much wrong in my view....other than 2 possible Penalties not given. Much as it pains me to say it, but Zaba's sending off was correct...and Silva was lucky not to be sent off too.

Did you go to the game, have you seen Zab's tackle, it was clean and won the ball, even on an alternative viewing that it was made from behind and didn't win the ball it was a nothing tackle.
Also the first yellow was highly dubious.

Zaba's first yellow was a poor decision,the second was justifiable.

Chelsea made it diificult for Dean to correctly officiate but that does not excuse his deficiencies.

Zaba first yellow was not a yellow HazZard dragged his right foot through the grass and was well on his way down before zaba tried to get the ball!! Hazzard should of been booked for diving

Thought we were brilliant. 60% possession at half. Didn't give up a shot on target until the goal. The first 20mns we were really pushing the tempo, was always going to be hard to break them down. Mangala was brilliant. Our corners are still shit. Ref was beyond awful. Nearly ruined a terrific game. The ref clearly had decided he was going to send someone off today, and by someone I mean a City player. The lads should have adjusted their play. Thought CFC played utterly gutless. Play acting every incident. Acted like they had their leg amputated on every foul

Would have took a point before the game, so given that we were down to 10 (wrongly IMO) I am delighted with a point.


Off topic but Rags-LMfAO, 3-1 up against the mighty Leicester and lose 5-3, they are the gift that keeps on giving!!!!
