Chelsea Post Match

A good performance I thought and I dont buy into this they came to defend bull either. We didn't let them play and pushed them into a deeper position, we were all over them like a rash! Demichelis can fuck right off (in a nice way) Mangala made a sterling debut next to Vinny, his pace killed 2 counter attacks stone dead whereas if Demichelis was playing we'd have been under the pump more, he slotted straight in. The real Yaya turned up (i wish he'd stop falling over like a tart, he might get 1 of those penalty decisions if he did). Dzeko better, I thought Aguero quietened down after Terrys tackle. Vinny was Vinny, Silva not at his best ( he was never going to be in a crowded half and he needs to give up taking corners) Zabba (stupid tackle for his 2nd yellow tho) Kolarov, Dino all played well but Jimmy Milner MOTM, never said die and played in about 5? positions doing a job in all of them, I take my hat off to you sir. Navas and Sagna did ok when brought on but " one Frank Lampard theres only one Frank Lampard" cheers for that Frank. I've not mentioned Hart becuse he had fuck all to do most of the game!

Team for hull: Hart

Milner Vinny Mangala Milner

Milner Milner Yaya Milner

Aguero Dzeko

;)
Chelsea's game plan was to sit back and counter-attack. We forced them back from the Kick off but when the intensity faded as it inevitably did, did Chelsea come forward? And after the sending off, did we force the back then? No that was Mourinho football

Milners stats for this game are crazy; 97% pass completion.104 touches.4 successful dribbles. 6 tackles.1 assist. He played RM, RB & LM

milner>nasri

All day long and he TRACKS BACK ;-)

Great performance. Thought Mangala might have clashed with Kompany but he looks like a tank. Milner MoTM for me.

Also, maybe I'm being over protective, but does anyone else think Terry left his knee in on that challenge with Aguero?

I think Terry knew exactly what he was doing.

On the Yaya pen, he was booked for the same challenge on the rent boy, yet didn't even get a free kick never mind the pen.
Corners woeful and should of changed it, mixed it up a bit, Kolorov was the reason we equalised against the Tarquins, why not give them something to think about.
How can our players not come back fit ready to start the season btw? Surely Nasri can't still need a rest after those holidays, good on ya Jimmy awesome display.

Once fernando comes back, our defence is going to get stronger. The thing which concerns me as of now is our attacking play,we just don't create enough chances to score for the strikers. What a contrast that is from last season where we were scoring for fun.We need more goals from the midfield, last season yaya was banging them in,can't expect him to do the job every time though. We can't afford to drop silly points now.We must find a way to play fluid attacking football that we played last season.Hopefully it will improve from now onwards or else we are gona struggle against teams that park the bus.

Still feel Aguero isn't up to form yet, and we are missing that Aguero, the one from the first half of the 13-14 season.

He deliberately took him out, no question.

I can see why Chelski don't drop too many points against top 4 teams. I'm proud City wanted to attack and win, but I can see why Chelski did a Stoke. Here's to us finding a way to break down the stubborn...

Not enough pace in attack imo. We continuously allow defences to set and regain shape which makes it harder to create more chances.
