Chelsea showing the way ahead

Looking at the number of players Chelsea have ended up with, and players like Cole Palmer not in the squad for their UEFA games this season, I think it may be the way forward due to the ridiculous amount of games FIFA and UEFA are concocting.
First team squad of best 20 plus 5 young up and coming players for the PremierLeague said FA Cup and another 20 plus the 5 youngsters for the League Cup and whatever nonsense UEFA and FIFA want to add on.
Good way to keep our best players fit and sharp for the League, we are still participating in the greed is God competitions, and between the two, plenty of game time for the youngsters.
Seems a great way to deal with the overloading of games (while throwing 2 fingers to the "Club World Cup" and the "Improved Champions and Guests League".
And if they get knocked out in the first round of the Carabao Cup and don’t make it out of the group stages of the European competition how do you keep those players happy for the remainder of the campaign?

They will still have the month in the USA in the summer to look forward to, while trying to get in the Premier League squad for the following season.
And sending the second string to the UEFA and FIFA competitions would boil their piss sufficiently to make it worthwhile

It seems a lot of money to spend on shite just so the main squad don't have to play in a third tier Uefa Cup we hopefully never will be playing in. Their youth should beat Shamrock rovers. It would be good to give the youth players more chances in the likes of League Cup but that usually goes tits up. Plus Pep prefers a smaller squad not one with 40 odd players to manage
