Technically, so did we :)I was just saying they made a good signing. A very good signing.
I’m with you, at the time I thought £45million; happy days. However, he looks a special special player. Unfortunately this looks like one that got away.I was just saying they made a good signing. A very good signing.
Same here, I also miss my days in the SAS as well.I miss being a Chelsea fan
Absolutely. Been nothing but a roaring success.Looking at the number of players Chelsea have ended up with, and players like Cole Palmer not in the squad for their UEFA games this season, I think it may be the way forward due to the ridiculous amount of games FIFA and UEFA are concocting.
First team squad of best 20 plus 5 young up and coming players for the PremierLeague said FA Cup and another 20 plus the 5 youngsters for the League Cup and whatever nonsense UEFA and FIFA want to add on.
Good way to keep our best players fit and sharp for the League, we are still participating in the greed is God competitions, and between the two, plenty of game time for the youngsters.
Seems a great way to deal with the overloading of games (while throwing 2 fingers to the "Club World Cup" and the "Improved Champions and Guests League".
No doubtTechnically, so did we :)
Regarding the two extra games if a play-off is required. Does the prize money for finishing top 8 cover what would be made in extra money for the extra two games in the playoff?Chelsea only doing it tbh because it’s the conference league they could win the competition with the B side.maybe we could go with a lower Quality team in the champions league for the league phase but then we could miss out on top 8 which would mean extra 2 games in the plays offs.
this is what’s on offer if you get top 8 round of 16. Not sure what the usually average teams make from revenue of CL games broadcast rights, ETC.Regarding the two extra games if a play-off is required. Is there a chance that greedy clubs will purposely finish outside of the top 8 so that they benefit from whatever extra cash the extra two games might bring in?
Puzzles me, they never win anything, how do they get away with spending what they spend yet the PL is trying to shaft us ?Let’s see if they keep everyone happy. They’re all on 8 year contracts so it’s costing them a fortune if they want to get rid of the dross
