Chelsea Thread 2013/14 (continued)

Signing a top Striker would be the key for them. Even a Drogba lite would make a big difference.

Just so we are clear were chelsea the bookies favorites last year or were they the pundits favorites? :-)
We were favs with every single bookies the day the season kicked off
Only just though & there wasnt much in it
And we are abt the same price now as last year 2/1

I only asked the above because I got the distinct impression that every pundit was backing Jose, been in the league before won the lot blah blah blah, then Pellers well he has a good squad but not won out in Europe blah blah blah.

Bookies know best. :-)

Yep - when I checked the odds on the 1st weekend last season there was virtually nothing between the 1st 3 in the betting - Chelsea were marginal third favs after joint tops - us and the rags - hahahahaha looks hilarious now

Pressure heaped on him before a ball is kicked. Good. As long as city play the way we did last season and don't give silly goals away we should still retain the league even if it is a close call.

But you will not because we will not be winning games for you to win the league, we will be winning them for our selves.

Agree De Niro. Can't see what all the fuss is about. He'll come up against much better centre halves than Vlar next season. Did very little for me and his temperament is suspect. All end in tears for Jose next season. Mark my words.
