Is this the Special One that keeps harping on about his side being in transistion with so many young players in his squad, and why it would be the greatest achievements to win the tiltle of City?
Lukaku out, Eto'o in. De Bruyne out, Matic in. Young guns out, old(er) ones in, attackminded out, defensiveminded in.

Mourinho wants to win prizes and only that. He's not interested in the future or development of young kids. He wants to win for himself, not the team. The man who, despite all the attacking options Chelsea have to their disposel, can't manage to play an attacking and therefore attractive style of football. He failed at Real and his teams were the worst ever witnesssed in Madrid.

And some on here badly wanted him to join us ...

Mourinho's main ethos is to fight for the club and the team around you, so this isn't true at all.

We weren't playing well at the start of the season, but we seem to have turned a corner late December. We've scored seven goals in the last three games and kept clean sheets in all three. I don't understand how you can shun defensive play when you won your first title in years on the base of a solid defence.

Real Madrid have the record of goals scored in La Liga under Mourinho, so to say he can't play attacking Football is silly. I know it's routine to call chelsea 'boring' over the last few years, but our play recently has been decent. We're not banging in the goals like you are, but with a top striker in the summer, that could change.

You've had a great season so far and I heavily back you to win something big this season. All credit to your backroom staff and MP. You did some clinical signing in the summer and everything seems to be gelling

If Chelsea did decide to fuck Mourinho off in the future, I wonder what Mourinho's next port of call would be ? Surely the only place left with any credibility is Germany.
Abramovich must look at the way we're playing with envious eyes. After all, he fucked him off the first time for being a boring ****.
I'm not saying they will fuck him off, but with their track record, he could win the double and still get sacked.

Jose however, is rapidly running out of places to go.

Very true he is running out of places to go....now that he's won the league in Portugal, England, Italy and Spain I suppose the only major league left for him to win if he was to leave would be Germany.

France is worth a punt if you get the PSG gig just because you will win the title. Other than France and Germany though there is no place to go, depends how much he want to prove anymore, does he have anything to prove to anyone. On bluemoon you would think he was arrogant despite not winning anything

really? I seem to recall having the highest 'goals for' column as well, hardly parking the bus.

The fact there isn't much left and the fact that he's won the three major European leagues, Germany fast becoming a one team league, is why he talks of building a legacy and I'm sure he has agreed with Roman that this is a long term project and barring any major catastrophes can see him staying at the Bridge for quite a few seasons.

The side is in transition, because they are major weak points all across the team. The Chelsea team he built in 2004 has just come to an end. Terry, Cole, Lampard, Drogba and Essien all need replacing.
De Bruyne was not sold as a direct replacement for Matic. He was sold, because they have too many attacking midfielders. Matic is the replacement for Essien.

The foundation for the new team being built are Oscar, Hazard, Willian, Azilipucueta and Ramires. So yes it is a young team being built for the future.

The Madrid team he built was the strongest for over a decade. Scored the most goals and had the most points in La Liga. It was a fantastic team and a very young one. The average age must have been 25. He have Varane his chance, but in the end politics got in the way.

Mourinho himself said that Abramovich personally called him to have a talk if he could persuade Mourinho into coming back. Took them 5 minutes to agree thats how much Abramovich wanted Mourinho back.

Only after his main target turned him down though?

Who was that then

Oh yeah Pep but it was decided ages before that he was going to Bayern or are we allowed to believe the papers when they right stories about clubs

After stalking Pep for some time he made it quite clear he wouldn't be joining them, they made a move to line up Simeone at Atletico, he also rejected the offer and stayed with Atletico to sign a new contract.

He wasn't even back up for the main target, he was third choice at best?

They contacted Pellegrini and Klopp as well, 5th choice at least.

I wasn't privy to them two being made firm offers, feelers maybe, but not firm offers?

Might not have been, but Klopp said they had contacted him and there doesn't seem to be too much doubt they tried to get Pellegrini before we got him, so imo that makes him 5th choice and R.A. doesn't seem like the type to sit happily and watch grindingly boring football with his fifth choice manager in charge.
