It's probably been mentioned, but how in God's name did Terry get away with not being slaughtered on MOTD last night? Abysmal for the first, and lucky to get away with the one where Long hit the post. If that had been Lescott they'd have dedicated 10 mins to in depth analysis on how shite he was. Maybe there's a concerted media effort in getting Terry back into the England squad?

There is always an agenda with certain players and that is why it makes me laugh when every mistake certain defenders make are constantly highlighted.

There is paper talk of Mourinho trying to ship out David Luiz in the january window. What do Castiel et al feel about it?
Knowing Abrahamovich's decisions over the last 10 odd years, one would assume that there is more chance of Mourinho getting the boot than David Luiz being shown the door.

England would be a more solid team with him in it that's for sure but selfishly glad he's out of it as he can put more in for Chelsea. JT has been outstanding this season, not his best game Saturday but overall has been very very good.

being reported that Hazard has said De Bruyne should leave Chelsea.

If true, that will not go down well with Chelsea and Mourinho.

"If we (Belgium) want to get the best out of Kevin, I think that it's best if he leaves."

Well it is the correct thing for him to say and I doubt Mourinho will actually be too bothered. Worse case situation he can call back Moses. Bigger issues at Chelsea are that they need a striker, a central midfielder and another centre back. The first two being much more important. Selling one of their attacking midfielders to help fund the transfer would be smart.

If one of our players said that about a team mate there'd be trouble I'm sure.

If it's any other players it would probably be trouble. But since Hazard is Mou's one of favs, he could say and do whatever he wants.

Mourinho getting a lot of stick from the Chelsea fans now and they are comparing his record to Benitez. The one thing they seem to be ignoring is that Benitez is a great manager. Some Chelsea fans did not like him, because of his connections to Liverpool and his prior comments to Chelsea. It was nothing to do with his ability. At least the Chelsea fans I know regarded Rafa as one of the best managers in the world. His record speaks for itself: taking Liverpool to two champions league finals, winning two Europa Leagues, an FA cup and the league with Valencia. To think that Mourinho would do a lot better than Benitez is a bit deluded.

The second issue here seems to be the dropping of Mata. I rate Mata very highly and think at the moment he is still Chelsea's best player, but given the choice of Oscar or Mata, I would choose the former. Oscar is improving rapidly and already has more to his game. This time next year Oscar is likely to be the better player and Mourinho is building a team for the future. Both are best as 10s and wasted out wide. Once you decide to choose Oscar as the no10 then Mata is never going to fit in. It's a bit like Veron and Scholes. Once Fergie choose Scholes it meant Veron would have to leave.

Unlike many here I rate Luiz very highly, but it seems Mourinho does not. Terry and Cahill as off present are not good enough and expect Luiz to be sold and a centre back to be brought in either in the summer of January. The same goes for Mata, he will likely be sold and a midfielder will be brought in to partner Ramires. It seems too many fans want instant success these days.
