probably won the double today with an og and goal from a defender combined with our meltdown - sums them up
Or "sums us up"?
I must have missed the prem trophy being presented to them today..
it isn't over, they've won the league cup today that is all...
Plenty of twists and turns yet...
Let the fun begin.

Mourinho realised last season he couldn't compete with us on a fair and level playing field so has decided to go down the cheat at all costs route.

Sums the c**t up!
He knows your no competition, you cannot beat the also runs ie Arsenal, Liverpool or the bottom sides, ie QPR, Stoke or West Ham.

Chelsea have just won a trophy so you visited Bluemoon. How odd.

Granted Chelsea have the most points in the league, but you point to Arsenal & Liverpool as also runs (sic), whilst conveniently forgetting you got walloped by Spurs and failed to beat Utd. As for Stoke and West Ham being bottom sides, remind me how you went on against Sunderland, Newcastle & Burnley at home last week. All three of them below Stoke & West Ham.

Bearing in mind your team won a trophy today, I find it bizarre that you're posting on here, rather than being out with your mates celebrating? That's what I did last year after City won the League Cup and Premiership.

This is the clearest frivolous appeal you'll ever see, but they won't hit him with an additional game ban as they don't want the media backlash. They've fucked up in not hammering Ashley Barnes, and people generally are sympathetic towards Matic's response, so they won't want to get involved in that if they can help it.

The challenge on Matic was a shocker, and I don't blame him for the way he reacted (he could have ended up with a broken leg), however understanding the reaction, and being sympathetic towards it, doesn't change the rules. He ran 10 yards and flattened an opponent by shoving him forcefully to the floor. It's as nailed on a red card as you're likely to see. If the FA were to overturn that then it allows players to, at will, throw their opponents around, and sets a precedent that other players will use for appeals in the future. I'm sure we've all seen the bodyslam/suplex in the Worcester v Stockport game this weekend, that was a reaction to a horrible leg breaker challenge, was that reaction ok? No. Matic's ban should stand, he commited the offence, albeit with mitigating circumstances.

I don't think the Burnley player even made a challenge, Matic came into his path after he had committed to the ball, making the contact an unfortunate accident (I'm not on my own with this summary either)

What chance the FA will listen to the head ref and overturn the red............

Now that would be a joke

Just because people keep repeating a lie, does not make it become the truth.

Remember similar posts in 12/13 when United pulled ahead of us, except the twists and turns never came. I think the twist has already happened when Chelsea dropped an 8 point lead and we drew level. Then we absolutely ballsed up our chance to pull ahead as we always do when put in a position to take control of the league (as opposed to come back from the dead) and are now 5 points behind with them having a game in hand. We should win the next 4 games, it's about as 'easy' (but Stoke H, Burnley H and Hull H were 'easy' too) as it gets for us, and if we haven't cut the gap significantly by the the time the derby rolls around there will be no more serious 'twists and turns' I suspect. We simply can't rely on clubs to bottle it every year, it doesn't always happen and i doubt Mourinho's Chelsea will squander another big lead.

Chelsea have won plenty of trophies, as have the likes of Terry & Mourinhio. Yet they still seemed pretty animated at full time. No doubt, they'll be a bit of a celebration tonight. I'm sure plenty of Chelsea fans will be partying long into the night. Whereas you're posting on a Manchester City fans forum. Very strange behaviour.

Fair play to Mourinho. The guy is a trophy machine.

Bet Madrid regret letting him go, they played some great stuff with him.

Doubt it.

They won the Champions League under Ancelotti playing far better football and without resorting to gouging an opponent in the eye.
