Chelsea Thread 2014/15

the 5-3 or whatever it was at Spurs was the clincher for Mou to shut up shop, we started to close the gap and that's when Mou, Costa and the like became vile in the media and on the pitch as well. We had them sweating and worried and then we fell apart.

Oh, come on! The two best strikers in the PL shooting it out, and the three best players of the year on show....

The Independent is carrying a report today that Abramovitch's interest free loans to the company through which he owns Chelsea have risen to over £1 billion. Neither Platini, Rumenigge or, more surprisingly, Arsene Wenger have been asked to comment. Old Trafford is maintaining a dignified silence.

yep and he can call in that Loan within 18 months if one day he says sod this I've had enough of Chelsea! what happens then is Chelsea it deep shit...

If Mourinho wants to stay there for a decade, he'll need to be more attacking than he was in the second half of the season.

Mourinho always wins the league in his second season at a club. Always.

I still feel there's a question mark whether Mourinho can do it long term at a club. I have a feeling the players will get fed up of that style within 2 years, it happened last time he was at Chelsea.

Mourinho is an excellent short term manager, but I'm not convinced he can be at a club long term with his style of football and lack of faith in youngsters.

Chelsea also have the monumental task of replacing Terry in the next year or two. Not just his ability as a player, but his leadership and drive on the pitch.

Cheek included in England squad pmsl.

Days of the press licking Mourinhos arse now for saving English football.

What a complete fucking joke the FA are.

It's the U-21 squad isn't it?

It is mate but yet again we see a kid from one of the sky 4 make an often crap appearance or two and bang, in they go to the next England squad.

Cesc Fabregas: Chelsea midfielder's ban cut from three games to one
Chelsea's Cesc Fabregas will only miss one match after the Football Association reduced the ban for his red card against West Brom by two games.

The Chelsea midfielder, 28, was sent off for kicking the ball at Chris Brunt as the Premier League champions lost 3-0 at the Hawthorns on Monday.

The offence would normally mean a three-match ban.

Spaniard Fabregas will now only miss Chelsea's last game of the season, at home to Sunderland on Sunday.
