Re: Chelsea - Season Unbeaten?

As Sherlock Holmes says in the short story "Silver Blaze", we are dealing with "a plethora of surmise, conjecture and hypothesis".

Or: you are all guessing. Or so I conjecture.

Chelsea have the best squad and manager and have bags full of players with premiership experience. Man City will come a close 2nd
It would be interesting to see pulls with the Chelsea team. I cant see them playing much differently.

Pulis is a good manager and with these bunch of players he would also do a terrific job. Not sure I see your point.
First of all I think City definitely have the best squad and also the best 11. The problem that City have when compared to Chelsea is that Chelsea are a better put together team.

Make a list f the City 11 and then write down their best position and the best formation for them. Do the same for Chelsea then compare how many of the City players are in their best role compared to the Chelsea ones.

Pulis is a good manager, but there is a reason he manages midtable clubs at best. He had a lot of money at Stoke and failed to take them forward. Managing at the top is a lot harder than people think. To say that Pulis would do very well with this Chelsea team misses the point entirely. Pulis would not have put that team together in the first place. I cannot think of many better at building a team than Mourinho.

costa said that he won't play for Spain till he is not FIT!!!!! so a player who plays week in week out for his club it's clearly fit even if they keep telling about his misterious hamstring problems[bollox if you ask me] but now Strangely he seems to be UNFIT when it's about his country??? that has mourinho fingers all over it tbh....imagine if it was aguero the one who said this..the media will call for heads and tell the entire word how we ruin his career for not letting him join for his country..but when it;s about rags arse or chelski it's seems to be ok picking up injuries or ''being unfit'' and not play for their country.......god how much i hate this clubs

Well that's what Mourinho is good at getting into players head till they would walk on broken glass for him! We have had players just coming back from injury and playing 2 games in a week for there international team!

Every time I turn the telly on this **** is on there telling everyone how unfit Costa is. He looks pretty fucking fit to me, fucking hell man, nobody gives a fuck. Come back when you've got something worth saying.

Chelsea seem to have a habit of starting the season like a house on fire and then faltering towards the end. City meanwhile seem to be acquiring the happy knack, the same knack the scum were reputed to have, of picking up steam as the season progresses and then finishing in almost unbeatable form. I know which way round I would rather have it.

You what M8, finishing the season in unbeatable form!! Chelsea faltering at the end of the season!!

It took 2 spectacular collapses from your rivals to win your 2 titles & even 1 of those was only secured on the last kick of the season. Jose in his first spell with us won the league at a canter, this was when Utd & Arsenal were much better teams than they are now. Win a title with games to spare & you might just be credible.

There won't be a lull with us this season. We have too much quality all over the pitch. The only way i see you finishing above us is if you were to fail to qualify from your CL group.

Chelsea - Season Unbeaten?

I can't see anyone running us close barring any serious injuries to Costa, Fabregas, Terry or Cahill.

The hardest game of the season is out of the way with Jose giving MP another tactical masterclass. I can't see you getting anything from the return at our place.

The only game i can see us getting beat is at OT, but this all depends on the tactics used. If we go for our usual away performance we could easily concede a few with the form of Di Maria & Falcao. If we attack from the off & score first i don't see any way back into the game for them.

Re: Chelsea - Season Unbeaten?

Has a team ever gone unbeaten and not won the league? If not then I hope that Chelsea can take that record this season.

You're really going to go there? A win is a win is it not? *coughCLcough*
Also ironic-Jose had a chance last season but blew it, yet he loses no credibility, but we "lucked" into our 2 title wins. Riiiighht.

I'd take a page from the Pool fans and cool it with your campeones chant. You never know what will happen. There's still a long way to go, though I do see Chelsea as strong favorite.
