Chelsea Thread 2014/15

we are more or less on the same number of points as this stage last year - and we went on to win the league. Maureen said it himself - Chelski are champions of the autumn - its where you are come May that counts and we are in no way out of the title race so c'mon blues back the lads all the way to the title retention !!

They have 3 players in Ballon d'Or, we have 1. Make of that what you will, the more players we purchase from this list the better we'll be domestically and in Europe.......time to stop being cheap in the summer transfer window.

We might have the same number of point but Chelsea are +8

I would said they've had the harder start as well, Everton, Manure, Liverpool and us all away. Whereas we have only played Arsenal away!

Agreed. Plus, they're a totally different animal this time around. For more or less the whole of the last campaign, they were operating without a decent striker. Now, they've got Costa. Hard to see us clawing back 8 points on them, to be honest. Yes, they will almost certainly drop points along the way (probably somewhere daft as well, like Stoke or Hull). The problem is, so will we.

as of 1/12/2013 we were 9 yes NINE points behind Arsenal who were running away with it - if you recall they won it before Liverpool did last season - and still we won. Still say now is not the time to panic

i would like to take this opportunity to congratulate chelsea on winning the premiership , we usually wait until May to get our medals , the dippers hand theirs out in April , but all credit to chelsea to receive their medals in November is quite an achievement.

That was Arsenal not Chelsea. I don't think anyone thought that Arsenal would win the league.
