According to Sky Tuchel has been told he needs to challenge for the title this season which is mental. Can't see him lasting more than 18 months
If that was the criteria, then I suggest Tuchel was the wrong man to pick.

I feel for Frank but there’s no great surprise here. Chelsea’s owner is notoriously impatient and I always doubted that Frank would be given time to build a team.
I know it’s really unlikely to happen but I really wouldn’t mind seeing him come to City as assistant to Pep. I think he’d be a solid replacement for Arteta.

18 month contract is hardly a sign of confidence! As cheap as it could be to fire him any time.
Ruthless imo.
Frank is clearly a very intelligent man with a very deep knowledge of the game.
I think he'd have improved them a lot given time.
I imagine he's absolutely devastated Chelsea being his club and him being a genuine legend there.
Certainly is ruthless.
We know ourselves that it takes a bit of time to bed a player in.
Cancelo last year, Ake this year.
they should have given him time to settle his new players into the system he wants to play. Then judge him.
I feel a bit for Lampard. But not giving a toss about chelski or tuchel.

Looking like this was their plan all along. Bring in German players, bundesliga players and the PSG captain.
