Can we stop pretending that winning the Champions League is a minor accomplishment? And he was a finalist the year before too
It’s not minor it’s cup knock out you need luck to win it like all cup competitions! League titles not about luck

Which is deeply worrying as Tuchel has Pep Sussed!?They're a very difficult team to play against since Tuchel came in. I'm stating the obvious here but the two games against Chelsea feel like they will be title deciders.
Chelsea are a prime example for what he means. Can we stop pretending that winning the Champions League is a minor accomplishment? And he was a finalist the year before too
The FA Cup we pretty much threw, we all knew that was happening.the league game neither side wanting to show their hand, we played a side that you'll never see us play again in a game with something on the line, purely to not give anything away with the final looming. Chelsea did a similar thing too but in the end they needed the win, we didnt and that got them that win.Which is deeply worrying as Tuchel has Pep Sussed!?
I watched every game and was out in Porto, Chelsea were the better team in all three matches. Mentally Tuchel has the edge over Pep now, like it or not! Fortunately it's now over to Pep to ensure he defeats Chelsea in our next few encounters. Things ain't looking promising if we can't land a forward before the window ends, as I said elsewhere it's going to be tough to predict top 4 between Chelsea, rags and the vermin. With either Kane or Ideally Haaland we are favourites as it stands now could be one of four! The FA Cup we pretty much threw, we all knew that was happening.the league game neither side wanting to show their hand, we played a side that you'll never see us play again in a game with something on the line, purely to not give anything away with the final looming. Its only the champions league final that Tuchel did Pep and even then many would argue Pep did himself. This narrative of seeing 3 straight Chelsea wins with no context surrounding the games and saying tuchels got peps number is very misleading.
Its weird how there's this clamour to claim managers have peps number, it doesn't happen with anybody else. A couple of wins against him and they're suddenly a genius. scousers still claim Klopp has Peps number despite the fact we've lost just once to them in the last 7 meetings.
I wasn't disputing whether they were the better side, I agree with you completely on that what I was highlighting were the unusual circumstances for 2 of those games that everybody ignores. The league game was more of a dead rubber than the 6th champions league group game and the FA Cup he willingly sacrificed. The two lineups for those games shows this. There's no way Pep is so fragile that he thinks Tuchel has the edge over him after those games. The first Chelsea match is in a few weeks, I wouldn't look too much into that result either regardless of the outcome, it's too early in the season for it to have any value or meaning beyond the 3 points at stake.I watched every game and was out in Porto, Chelsea were the better team in all three matches. Which are a huge 3 points against our title rival, potentially season defining!I wasn't disputing whether they were the better side, I agree with you completely on that what I was highlighting were the unusual circumstances for 2 of those games that everybody ignores.
