So they can't sell tickets, but there doesn't seem to be anything stopping them from just giving out away tickets for their away games and give out tickets for home games to both non-season card holders and away fans
They’ll come up with a Chelsea trustees charity initiative where all funds raised through ticket ‘donations’ are diverted to Russians affected by the Special operation, a bit like they where doing with the after-sale clubs profits

Sorry for genuine Chelsea fans, but not sorry for the Club.

Abramovich should just hand it over to the current board and say he doesn’t want a penny for it.

Then those in change of the Club can find a suitable new owner who can pay a fee agreeable to the UK government. The money for the sale going straight into the Ukrainian disaster relief fund for the repair work that will be needed in the country.

Chelsea can then get on with being a FC again.

Didnt Abramovich sell materials for tanks to be made which are trundling round Ukraine at this moment in time killing people? He is complicit in what is going on in this war.
It just shows how thick people like Ewan MacKenna are. Then again, I think it also shows what MacKenna's real agenda is - he's forever digging out City and Newcastle because of what's going on in Yemen, but I've never seen him tweet anything against Putin

If Chelski get banned from competing in the CL due to their assets being frozen does this mean a back door entry for the rags to qualify if they come 5th.....[emoji3064]
Admittedly I'm speculating but I would have thought it unlikely that Chelsea will be thrown out of the competition. Surely, they would simply be put at a disadvantage given their inability to compete financially.

Not all of them, some are showing support for the invasion. For example, the gymnast with the z on his top, and the mothers and children lining up in the z shape at the nursery or wherever it was.

Polling in Russia shows substantial support for the invasion if not an overwhelming majority. Ok, polling in Russia is dubious but this is backed up by many anecdotal reports too.
It was a hospice for sick children rather than a nursery and I certainly wouldn't be pointing the finger at them.

MacKenna never understood human rights issues or football finance, so how he ever expected to get his head around geopolitics and sanctions seems pretty remote, to me.

Just in case you're on here again Ewan - brown faces = bad, white faces = good, has nothing to do with sanctions, on this one.
