Fair comment. Makes sense.Politics hasn't come into football.
A private citizen has had his business assets frozen, one of them assets is Chelsea, it hasn't been specially selected for punishment, it has suffered from an unfortunate coincidence.
Abramovich paid around £140 million for the club and was owed about a billion in investmenst (which he claimed to write off only weeks ago). He has been asking for nearly 3.5 billion to buy the club knowing ithis was likely to happen while potential investors were valuing it at about 1.5 billion.
He has sold the club, staff and fans out by not selling imediately and cutting his loses.
Politics isn't to blame for this, a greedy rich man seeing their money dissapear has.
This sets no presidence, if an owner is found to be in a sanctional position then picking and choosing which of their businesses get sanctioned because they are a sporting club not say a factory would be wrong and unjust
Abu Dhabi is in the UAE, look the UAE has 7 Emirates and Abu Dhabi is one of them. Our owners are not the UAE
Fuckinell I wanted to buy some Chelsea crested nappies and Chelsea crested hankies.
Might not affect that if FA sell the tickets? So if they reach the FA Cup semi etc then their end will be empty.
Absolute mess that the club finds itself in. Wonder how other PL clubs will react to this?
That was taken after the Dippers were in Town!Welcome to "The Chelsea Superstore"

Haha he’s something else that bloke, total bellend.Jordan was blaming Abramovich's ownership of Chelsea on United players not putting the requisite effort in the other day!
No reason why he should.Hate to be the cynical one, but the precedent this sets might not be positive for us. Our current owner could easily find himself in a similiar situation somewhere down the line
