Good appointment.

Got his work cut out sorting the previous incumbents mistakes and the wheat from the chaff.....but,if they are patient.... he'll get them back up the league.
 
Serial non-winner in England however, he'll stabilise them and have some idea how to actually organise & play to the teams strength.

They may actually outscore Haaland as a team next season.

A valid question is how he will deal with such a large squad. He had trouble at PSG balancing egos. The egos may be smaller at Chelsea but there are a lot more of them and I can't imagine that is solved before he starts.

First order of business is to work with the club to trim the squad. If we start next season still with 30 or so players, the club will have handicapped his ability to work before he even starts.

Will be interesting to see how you manage to trim whilst also allowing him space to bring in a few who he actually wants but as you rightly say, the squad has to be much smaller.
 
How come Brighton has so many more games in hand than everyone else In the league?
