I think the team has to gel. Don’t think you can lose 7 players, add 7 players to a squad and think they’ll be firing on all cylinders immediately. I’m tempering my expectations until next season but I hope to see something in the cups.

The market is nuts. Boehly will supposedly assemble a data analytics team, of which Finkelstein is spearheading, so I hope that means once this summer window is out of the way, we’ll calm down a bit and move quieter and smarter in future windows.

A lot of young English players and good young players in general are going to leave on free transfers from now on IMO if these prices continue to hit the highs they are, the clubs of these players must be pricing them out of moves.

If Chelsea were open to selling CHO he’d have plenty of buyers. There are about 7 clubs interested in taking him on loan. Ziyech is close to moving to Ajax. Chelsea want a huge fee but I’m sure we’ll compromise in the end and sell him for less the asking price once Antony to United is done.
