My question is why in the fuck would you want to go to Chelsea. 10th place, champs league seems far away. 100 mil for a guy that’s had about 6 nice games in the World Cup. The only guy I would have wanted is Nkuku

Its because were not vical, have a local or manc tied fan base, shit PR no media support whatsoever...for a club who's always been well supported how did our crowd which has been good for donkeys years, get so much stick and nit fight back. I think the early leavers killed us. Mates of mine supported other teams used to flick over fir last five to see the score..we'd be 3 up but thousands of empty seats...might have had 50k but soon as the result was in tge bag, thousand fked off and didnt clap the lads off...that behaviour got the ball rolling..look no fans!!!!.. why pay for 70 mins?
 
I honestly think, with these new signings and our luck in the competition, Chelsea will win a 3rd Champions league before we win it.
Which also means their supporters can sing “Champions of Europe, you’ll never sing that” every 47 seconds when we play them

He also said if they miss CL they are fucked. Actually I think he said that changes everything. Same thing.

More to the point, I wonder if Tyler will refer to the cost of the Chelsea subs bench every five minutes like he seems to do whenever we play, followed by his usual comment "it's just not fair is it Gary,"..

no because the our skin color of our owner is not something he identifies with
 
Said it already, don’t see any sort of plan because I can guarantee, these are not the managers signings and the manager won’t be there long!
 
Some crazy signings and a huge outlay. Some real talent they've picked up. Bet it's been fun for the fans at least, good luck to Potter trying to keep that squad happy.
 
Let’s see if Enzo Fernandez suddenly becomes ‘The £107m Enzo Fernandez’ with the media and TV pundits just like Jack did?

Yeah, it'll be interesting to see who they offload in the summer. There will surely be plenty of outgoings as there aren't enough places in the squad for all these players. With some of the extra long contracts they've given to the new signings and a couple of hundred million or so in outgoings, they might actually be on the right side of FFP for all we know. I'm reluctant to dive in and say they're taking a huge dump on FFP (as that's what plenty of opposition fans said about us without knowing all the facts) before they've actually sold all the players that they're intending to sell.

I will add that, FFP aside, their spending since last summer is totally unprecedented in the English game over such a short period of time yet - despite that - they're definitely being given more of a free pass in the press than we were.

They need a few things to happen or they are royally fucked

They HAVE to qualify for the CL next season, winning it will probably be easier than via league position but either are going to be difficult from here give Potters showing so far

They have to dump some of their deadwood in the summer. We could see some very low fees being obtained but players like Mount could be shed due to being homegrown and the profit they will make on disposal

ALL of the players on massive long contracts have to come off , again with such massive incomings they are really gambling here

its not impossible to pull off but I sense another Leeds with this, gambling long term future if the club on the hope of short term success , with a Rookie manager to boot
