The problem is we’re lining up with basically two attackers and one creator. The rest are either defenders or defensive minded players. We’re going to struggle in a lot of games if Poch persists with this shit. Yesterday was an absolute chore to watch.

Well poch will have the season to fix it! If he is the top coach people say he is he will sort it..

Given their current state, it might have been better spending the ongoing £1bn outlay on a new stadium, whilst following the Brighton model of buying players and using their own stockpile of their academy.

For a ‘top’ team to have a stadium like theirs (ditto united) is verging on … well not criminal… but certainly naive stupidity.

Arsenal built theirs and iirc, paid it off a few years ago - it took them a longtime and the football pain (for them) was obvious to see, but now they have the benefits

Tottenham, for all the crap thrown at Levy, they have a spanking new stadium, have unloaded their fading talisman ( I was looking at hattrick stats - Kane hadn’t scored one for 5+ years in PL), and have, potentially, signed a decent un hyped manager after umpteen ‘names’ since Poch seemed to come out of nowhere.

Question: does Arsenal stadium do anything other than host Arsenal? I don’t recall other sports, concerts etc? Looks like a bad design if that’s the case.

We will see. You know me. I’ll always preach patience and giving the coach time but after spending close to £1b, unfortunately for Poch that brings its own added pressure, the same way it did for Potter.

But when you invest this much in basically a collection of U21 players, there will be hiccups and bumps in the road. I just hope we don’t get into another situation where the season spirals out of control and fans start calling for Poch’s head. We have the most entitled and impatient fanbase in the league.

What an utter shambles of a club and just makes you realise what a superb job Abramovic and his Execs did before.

And also makes you realises what incredible leadership we have. It all starts with Khaldoon's measured, focused, and calm approach, and flows from there. Money is far from everything, as Chelsea are now proving.
