Yeah I can’t wait for the season to start. Another player I think should start in that opening game vs Liverpool is Maatsen. Poch has done a great trying him out in different positions and he’s been excellent in every single one. I honestly think he should be starting ahead of Sterling at RW.
Ffs, I’d be better starting ahead of Sterling, he’s absolutely fucking wank, busted flush, you may get 2 quid and a packet of pear drops for him.

i actually think chelsea will do well this year, they could easily finish top 4 or higher imo, they have some great young players, get a good start, get that feel good factor, expectations aren't running too high and they could be flying, can see the opposite with arsenal and newcastle, who had that feel good factor last season, expectations are running very high ,but get off to a bad start and that will soon swing the other way
Too 8 at best.

Just looked on bbc sport.
Some no mark woman asked poch how it feels to win a trophy.

I then worked out she meant the Premier league summer series.??

£1.5 Billion owner investment since 2003. Written off, forgotten and not investigated or sanctioned.
I know that FFP started after 2003, but for the purpose of simplicity and to see it in a different way that is equal to £80m per year.
Without £80m per year you would have failed FFP every year and probably not won as many trophies as you have.
*Perennial, *hypocrital *cheats. *Asterix everywhere.

City have won the hard way by having to be better on and off the field whilst often fighting again 12 men.
Our titles feel sweeter for it.
Only a City fan gets it.
"Edit" and Pep, which is why he has stayed so long because he wanted to beat the "system".
PIK for the “loan” should have been applied as well, not tangible debt but assessed for FFP, twice the debts the Rags have had but not 1p in interest charges, 1.6b at commercial rates would have been around 64m per year at 4% and around 160k per year at todays rates, let that sink in.

I know they're trying to grow the league in the US but preseason trophies should not be a thing lol

Wel they're not and never will be.
It doesn't matter how many pointless games they play in that daft country they will never be more than a friendly .
And as for growing the league in America.
Waste of time

I don't have a problem with it tbh. Look at the attendances at these pre-season games - pretty impressive. American culture gravitates to trophies, medals etc. for pretty much everything, so all good!

Of course it doesn't mean anything. It was nothing more than a good pre-season run-out for all teams. It's harmless though imo.

They have trophies for preseason in Asia and Australia too. I know, it's all fun and games in the name of marketing and promotion, but yeah, totally meaningless. It's almost embarrassing for the players to stand there and have to lift the trophy for the cameras lol
