I’m generally an optimistic person. I tend to keep believing in something for as long as possible. We’re 7 games in. Even if this ends up being another lost season in mid table, as long as I see something on the pitch to hang my hat on, I’ll probably stay the course and argue for Poch and the players to be given more time. That’s just me though. I’d rather back my club, especially at times when the chips are down. Being negative all the time is too exhausting. Don’t know how people do it.

Palmer in the 10 is what this team needs. Until we get our other 10s back from injury, he needs to start there every game. He had two very nice assists today, one was very harshly ruled out for offside. Looked onside to me. Very good again tonight.



 
Chilwell picked up another bad hamstring injury. It's like him and Reece James have a competition to see who can be out injured the most every season. Chelsea currently have 11 first team injuries, that's a proper injury crisis, we literally wouldn't be able to field an 11 with that number of injuries.

the thing is, they were like this last season too, I'm sure a few of them were just plain bad luck, you can't legislate for ACL's and such but surely some questions should be asked about their physio department at this stage. either with their day to day treatments and recovery or their medical assessments.

Have some sympathy, they need an organisation the size of the NHS to keep that squad fit ....
