wtf are Chelsea doing & how can they afford all these players.

Next few years will be interesting how they manage these players & contracts
 
Sancho imo may turn out to be good. not sure whats up with his mentality these days, his rag career was a disaster but wasnt bad at Dortmund on loan.

is this Chelsea the best fit for him to find himself? well that we will find out soon.

there were lot of great players rags signed that turned to shit just at old toilet, long list of them. Kagawa, Di Maria, Falcao, Cavani, Miktarian etc these were best players in their previous clubs often. fuck even if Pep gets to sign Maguire he would be a Maldini now:)))
 
Chelsea are set to sell Deivid Washington to partner club Strasbourg after he only played 28 minutes for the Premier League side.

The Brazilian striker arrived at Stamford Bridge from Santos last summer in a transfer worth €16million.

He made just three appearances from the bench late on in games last season – two in the league and one in the FA Cup.

Despite less than half an hour of action for the Blues, the 19-year-old will reportedly make a deadline day switch to Ligue 1.

Strasbourg will break their transfer record by paying Chelsea around €21million for Washington, according to L’Equipe.


So they make a profit selling a flop to another club owned by Todd Boehly. That's not dodgy at all. WTF is going on at chelsea?

I thought deals between sister clubs were illegal now.
 
tbf in theory on paper a midfield/forward line of

..........Enzo.........Caciedo...
Sancho.....Palmer.......Felix
................Jackson..............


Should be a top 4 finish expectaion.


the defence is maybe a bit ropey

It's clearly still a decent level below us, Arsenal and the dippers, so really only 1 top 4 spot up for grabs

But in theory, it's not a bad midfield/forward line, but again in that said you've got 2 young players who've not made on their potential in Felix and Sancho

Also still think the jury is out on Enzo-Caceido midfield, they look far from a world class partnership

Jackson gets goals, but he will miss a bunch

Also having Madueke, Nkunku, Neto, Mudryk on paper seems good but these players are all at the same level, thays not helpful as you'll chop and change based off short runs of form

The club is a mess still, I'd be very surprised if they got top 4

As said in theory not yey practice, if Maresca does keep to his set 21 man squad and defined playing system the potential is there.

think if they gel before christmas at least they are on a level with spurs/villa/rags in terms of 4th place
