I feel for that lad, he’s such a good defender when fit, must be so frustrating being out injured so often.

Exactly this, and why the " well look at what he's being paid" posts are so wide of the mark imo.

These guys are professionals who want to be playing regularly and not undergoing treatment for months on end, with a possibility that their career may be coming to an early end.

A talented player who has clearly suffered from his inability to remain healthy, and I wish him well going forward.
