I dont think any lot of people have cottoned on to what I believe is the main reason why they're making these two signings and why we'll see them both completed by the end of tomorrow.

they've got that £200m income from the women's team sale banked, they can only make use of that for PSR compliance for the next 3 financial years before it rolls off the calcualtions, the first of which is about to end at the end of tomorrow.

If they don't spend it, it's gone so it makes sense for them to make sure they spend it, eveif in a worst case scenario where the players signed dont work, selling them later will at least help with financials further down the line and they'll need that with thr extended contracts they've handed out.

Thought after best season it’s a reset with the new ffp rules which is similar to UEFA’s one

Joao Pedro is weird one. He's a really good player but inconsistent. Brighton paid big money for him themselves so the margins aren't there for a bargain, anybody wanting him will have to pay over the odds for him and I'm not sure hes a player worth doing that.

He's also a slot in anywhere and do a decent job player. That's usually a bonus but Chelsea have those in abundance, they need a couple of specialists in attack if anything.

With gittens and Joao Pedro coming in I'm guessing that's the end of Jackson. And gittens is probably the replacement for mudryck.

Neto, gittens, Pedro, delap, palmer and madueke will be their front 6 id imagine. That leaves them needing to ship out jackson, nkunku and guiu. they'll have to find a loan for estevao and I'm sure they'll have forgotten loans coming back to ship out too. Thats a lot of work for them to do, who's buying those players? United and spurs can only bid for so many of them.
Estevao will be part of the 1st squad. He is going nowhere. He is actually the reason why they want to sell Madueke. They also have kendry Paez incoming another world class talent but that one is getting loaned out apparently .

They have bought Brighton's vote.

£2 BILLION spent under Boehly/Clearlake, that makes even the rags spending look reserved.

So PSR was brought in because they said

“we don’t want states owned clubs buying who they want and distorting the market!”

Americans can do what the fcuk they want because they have the media in many countries in there pockets to set the narrative!

American billionaires all earned their money by playing with fluffy rabbits and flowers haven't you heard?

the term world class is banded about far too easily

Next week it will be £3B. The number seems to be rising by the minute. We'll probably surpass £6B at the end of this month at the rate people keep increasing this figure.

Conveyor belt of players how many players have Chelsea actual got

Their management are lobbying the PL to allow all 50+ players to play for their squad.

Squad planning at the very highest level
