Nkunku sold to finance this deal.
I did see that, but it's still dodgy.

Some illicit Yankee bullshit going on.I did see that, but it's still dodgy.
They’re just trying to buy all young wide forwards in the world and sell most a year later to buy the next young forwards.I did see that, but it's still dodgy.
Proper dodgy club these
Again, you're going to have to explain what you think is dodgy about this deal?
Nothing dodgy about this only dodgy thing is why they want him
You think he's crap? Fair enough. I don't particularly rate him either, but I would argue he is better than Gittens and we paid over £50m for that guy.
Pace a threat everything else is not there yet! We know this league now it’s about pace! If manager improves his passing his decision making he will be worth it but he is another squad player
Was interested in how many players Chelsea has bought signed last 12 months! It’s pretty mad
Chelsea Football Club has been active in the transfer market over the last 12 months, with a number of signings for the 2024/25 and 2025/26 seasons. Based on available information, here is a summary of the players signed by Chelsea from August 2024 to August 2025:

19. Mike Penders (Goalkeeper, from Genk, signed August 2024, joined summer 2025, loaned to Strasbourg)
### Total Number of Signings:
Based on the data, Chelsea signed 19 players in the last 12 months (August 2024 to August 2025). This includes players signed for immediate integration into the first team, future arrivals (e.g., Estevao Willian, Kendry Paez, and Geovany Quenda, set to join in 2025/26), and those loaned out after signing.
### Notes:
- Some players, like Estevao Willian, Kendry Paez, and Geovany Quenda, were signed but will officially join the squad in the 2025/26 season. They are included as they were acquired within the 12-month period.
It's not surprising. We've signed over 50 players in the last 3 years, so we're averaging about 15-20 signings per year the last 3 years. We've also sold/let go of about 45 players the last 3 years.
It's a massive player trading machine.
Some of these guys will never see the light of day at Chelsea. Like I'm almost 100% certain Kellyman, Wiley, Amougou.
We have a core of players (Caicedo, Colwill, James, Enzo, Palmer, Cucurella) with some potential players to become among the core (Joao Pedro, Estevao, Lavia).
That's about 9 core and potential core players. Would be 10 if we could ever sort our keeper situation out. So overall not a bad situation.
There is just so much noise and upheaval in the rest of the squad. Eventually this kind of spending will have to slow down. It must. I can't see us spending 250m-300m every summer for the foreseeable future.
They’ve don’t it well because the more players you bring in when you have a good am manager who then can find who are the best then ship out the rest for cash
Again, you're going to have to explain what you think is dodgy about this deal?
With respect, I don't have to explain shit.
Boehly could have saved a lot of money had he just bought Brighton, perhaps even made a large profitAnother player they are buying from Brighton!
There's a player in him somewhere. Maybe he just needs to find a manager that'll find that player.I'm thinking if Maresca can get refine his qualities a bit and work on his weaknesses, we might have a decent squad player on our hands. I don't see him as a significant signing or a player I'm excited to watch. I've been opposed to this transfer all summer lol.
He's only just turned 21 though, so maybe there's some potential to be unlocked, who knows. It's a transfer that has left Chelsea fans unenthused and United fans seem pissed that the fee is so low given that Madueke, Elanga and Gittens all went for £50m+
