And they are also trying to sell additional players, including Nicolas Jackson, Christopher Nkunku, Raheem Sterling, Ben Chilwell and Axel Disasi.
Currently only spent £26m more than they have brought in.
Incredible really.

I can’t help thinking that their transfer policy will land them in trouble in the end. I’m thinking they may finish up with lots of players on big wages and long contracts who they just can’t sell. Time will tell.

Why? What is wrong with this deal?

Signed for cheap as cover for LB, but after he was called to the Portuguese NT (where he played CB) he returned and said he didn't see himself as anything other than a CB and did not want to continue playing LB (where he had almost exclusively played for us in the conference league and league cameos.

So, off he went on loan to Juve in January, where by all accounts he impressed, which only strengthened his wish to play CB permanently. Then he requested a transfer. Chelsea obliged and worked with him to find a club. He landed at a good club, Chelsea doubled their money. Win, win.

1 appearance, and you've received double what you paid. And you don't think there's anything strange about that. Okaaay.

I mean, I've given you the context. It's not 1 appearance. He played 18 times for Chelsea, 15 times for Juve and 5 times for Portugal. He played nearly 40 games last season. Tell me what you think is strange about this?

That's a cop out lol. All you're doing is implying something dodgy is happening without bothering to explain your thoughts, then you're for some reason pretending I'm asking you to engage in a 10hr debate with me. Oh well. It's up to you.

It is, but it seems to me you don't have any thoughts about this at all. Refusing to explain what you find strange about this is extremely odd, especially after I've been courteous enough to engage with you in good faith.

Didn't realise that the 16 year old who scored the winner for liverpool against newcastle has only recently joined from Chelsea.
Had been at Chelsea from age 8 to 16.

Yeah they poached him. He's proper good as well, was the crown jewel of the academy, certainly for his age group.
 
An Italian team paying €42m for a Chelsea player who they want rid off! Everytime an Italian club want one of our players it’s a loan then option to buy! They seem to be able to get rid off players for good money all the time recently!
