Torres is regularly a cheat, and he tried it there too, so he's also an idiot in my opinion.

1. there was no need to go down, little if any contact
2. he knew he'd been booked already

Its time all this diving was sorted out, examples need to be made, and Torres (like Suarez) does it all the time.

The other red was consistent with Milners red last week.

That said the third was clearly offside, and Evans should also have had a red.

Any contact without touching the ball is a foul

No its not alan Hansen. Stop using the word contact to justify falling over easy. There is contact hundreds of times in a game without the ball being won, that doesn't mean it's a foul. Nowhere in the fifa rulebook does it utter hansens words. You are basically saying it should be a zero contact sport like basketball.

Torres was looking for it and got punished. I'm glad someone nailed him and now players will think more about exaggerating falls. Bale included before some bellend wants to try and be smart

contact with studs down the shin without touching the ball is a foul. We are not talking about hip to hip sort of contact as I`m sure you are aware.

That is one cheating bastard, plain and simple. But what I wanna know is where are the usual a-holes who masquerade as City fans telling us anyone who believes in an agenda is a paranoid curtain twitcher when sh*t likes this happens. Fucking nowhere.
Go to the general football forum of bluemoon its crawling with them, all the usual suspects are posting

My eyes must deceive me! The Torres incident looks more like a foul.

Must admit, at the time I thought it was a fair red for Ivanovic, but looking at that I can't see any contact other than Young flicking his legs back to initiate it and already being on the way down before that took place.

I'm not listening to the word contact at all. I agree with collymore

I don't care if it's Rooney, bale, balotelli or whoever. Torres could have stayed on his feet and delayed his fall.

If he can stay on his feet and falls he's cheating.

I hate clatternburg more than anyone here, I would punch his face in if I ever met him. I have been banned from two forums from people saying he was the best refs in the league which sent me mental! But today I think he got the torres one spot on.
As for the offside that's a fucking joke. 2-2 would have been a fair result

It's become the norm for the rags, nothing will change it , last year getting murdered at the bridge 2 dubious penalties job done, and then they Creighton going through a bad patch qpr turn up young dives penalty man sent off game over , red was later rescinded , but that was to late as game was already won , until bacon chops goes they will keep getting these decisions because they are Shit scared of the ****

Young played for the contact too,so where is the consistency. In fact the amount of penalties and free kicks United players earn by flicking their legs out to catch defenders is ridiculous.

Ashley Young looks for it & he gets penalties.
