I agree its high priority, but its a difficult fixture following the trip to Kiev, because its not Wednesday night, by the time we get back its well into Thursday morning, as the game doesn't finish until 23:30 local time. So unlikely that the players will train on Thursday as they'll not be home until nearly breakfast time, unless they stay the night there, train, then fly back, but that would mean upsetting the UK body clock. We then have Friday to train, and travel to London on Saturday.

Also Liverpool are at home in the EL, and will all be home by 9pm as its an early 6pm kick off.

The FA have royally shafted us with this FAC fixture, as I'm sure was fully intended.

I'm sure the FA just followed instructions from the BBC

Correct. The BBC decided that the game would fill the Sunday slot. The BBC rightly wants to get the most viewers for its money and isn't concerned about our fixture list. Sunday afternoon is the big slot. I do blame the FA for not having a clause protecting clubs in these situations though.

But hopefully we will give a lot of youngsters a chance. Don't expect anything but a three goal defeat but who knows what will happen. Maybe 5 or 6 young players will show us a team willing to put up a fight for a change.

Playing no kids isnt ideal. Either is playing a whole lot at once. I don't have a problem with it given the circumstances, am quite excited to be honest. But it's not as straightforward as you make out.

For the 2nd game in a row, I can confidently say that we will not win this match - it's not a nice thought

A spirited narrow defeat soured by injuries to Zabaleta and Kompany

I don't live in the UK so I might be wrong but aren't BBC public service? In that case they shouldn't care by number of views. At least not to the same extent as Sky, BT etc.

Haha I too can see a narrow defeat. I actually think we'll take the lead. We just need to avoid injuries to key players... but in all honesty I think this season is a bit of a write off now. So hopefully win the carling cup and get in the top 3 then look on to next year. It's a shame this season has gone to waste because we should have comfortably won at least the double
