Chelsea vs City Post Match Thread

People can't moan about SKY pointing out Chelsea's flaws, their job is to evaluate both teams performances, and not sniff our farts.... Chelsea were terrible by their standards today just like they were against us at home, they made us look good, and had this been Chelsea vs United many on here would have exactly said the same thing SKY are saying now. In my eye's who's been our biggest critic this season, I thought we did put a shift in today but it seemed to be one of those games where everything just went our way, the penalty at the end summed up Chelsea's day for me.

Regarding how we played I think Nasri has been a really big miss and I don't think enough people realise it, when you pick out our midfielders most tend to name Silva, Yaya, Fernandinho and now De Bruyne but Nasri's name always seems to go amiss, I think he's one of our most highly underrated players.

there were posters on here last season actually arguing that milner was better than Nasri. He is not a likeable person and I think this gets reflected in people's opinions of him

Well I didn't expect that.

City were brilliant 3-0 was an understatement.

Nasri has been badly missed he just gives us something else. Today looked like a team that want to show Pep they can all play under him.

Kevin De Bruyne what can we say? Wow even tho Aguero gpt 3 goals he was my MOTM stunning from the Ginger fella.

Big shout to Mangala as well he's slowly starting to look the real deal.

Hopefully now another win at Newcastle on Tuesday before the Stoke game Saturday and we could be in a very healthy league position come Madrid.

Come on City!!!

I assume Silva back in for Nasri for Newcastle.

Hopefully nothing serious for Nasri, Pellegrini just saying tight muscle.

Yep. That bit is painful. We are without doubt the best team in the league and even the most one eyed Leicester fan would surely admit that.

But fair play to them, we fucked up big time and I wish them well in winning it. I hope they enjoy every moment of it.

Their resilience and ability to grind out wins has been excellent to be fair to them. We have just made too many errors at crucial times and underperformed in games we should have been doing better in. It's small margins in this league. Wins at villa and Norwich and had we beaten Leicester at home we would be 2 points behind with 5 to play.( I know if my auntie had balls etc etc) Not been at our best this season by a long way but if we can get top 4 and ideally top 3, won a cup and made at least the semi final of the CL then it isn't too shabby. We need to keep the focus though because it's still tight.
