Will Arsenal have to go through the play-off round seeing as technically they finished 4th (now that Chelsea won it)?!

Apparently on Guardian's "Football Weekly" podcast it was said that they both are going straight to the group stages though I've heard many times that Chelsea are going to group stage while Arsenal have to play qualifier.

Well you heard it wrong.

Had Chelsea not won the final, Anderlecht would have gone straight to the group stages. Now they face a play off round.

Also 10% of the total monies IS a 25% reduction in our share duh.
That's what I said...........duh.

Squirty asked why Arsenal and United got off more lightly than us, and I pointed out that Arsenal were actually treated the same as us; it was only United that somehow got treated more leniently.

OK I'll go through this point slowly for you IF you believe the Daily Fail story we lose 25% of £12m, that's £3m. Arsenal lose 25% of £6m that's £2m and United lose 16.7% of £9m that's £1.5m. It's money we will lose not percentage points or percentages. Squirtys point is that it does't seem fair. This seems to be a valid comment.

And I'll go through it VERY slowly for you.

Squirty said it wasn't fair that City lost 10% while Arsenal and United only lost 5%.

I pointed out that City and Arsenal weren't treated differently at all as we both actually lost 25%. United, meanwhile, have only lost 16.7%.

I agree that isn't fair; it quite clearly isn't. But I didn't want Squirty falling into the trap of thinking that Arsenal had also got off lightly; they haven't. THAT was my point.

OK glad you agree so perhaps a better reply would be 'I agree'. Anything positive to add to the discussion?

Yes. At least Arsenal were also penalised as harshly as us.

Still doesn't make it fair though

God listen to you lot. 3m quid. 3 fucking million quid. That's like dropping a pound coin down the sofa for us.

Oh and you lot saying we'll win it all next season, f.f.s we've just won the league after 44 years, but faired poorly in all 3 (for the most part) cup competitions we were in this year. Enjoy what we've just done before 'Ragging' off about winning everything on Earth already!!!

As you think both are treated the same I'll give you the money Arsenal lost if you give me the money City lost deal?
