Chelski V Barca

It was ironic as I was wanting Everon to beat them in the semi the week before, and 6 days later that was meant to irk us.

iniesta will definitely be a future best player in the world! the guy is pure quality and what a finish tonight! i would say that if we had the choice between him and messi i would take iniesta!

Crouch will be gutted .

Everton seem to be reasonably popular over here, never really known why. Went to Liverpool a few months back and there were a load of people with t-shirts from a Swedish Everton supporter club, weird stuff. I reckon part of it is because they're sort of the anti-liverpool in a way, but that logic works better for us with United I think since there really isn't the same rivalry between Liverpool and Everton. I mean obviously Everton aren't nearly as popular as Liverpool over here though, but still.

Same goes for City, also a pretty big club here among "the rest" I'd say. And with that I mean that I've met one or maybe two blues here in my life. :)

Crazy talk! Iniesta is pure class but he's not Messi! Plus Iniesta is 3 years older than Messi.

If we sign Peter Crouch, I'll eat my season card! Wouldn't surprise me if he ended up at another Northwest club that plays in blue though! I wish you luck against Chelsea, but I've got a feeling tonights result was bad news for Everton. Only one trophy for them to go for now, so they won't be resting anyone in the FA cup final.

Did you want us to win because you like Everton , or hate United ? :o)

I think we'll beat Chelsea to be honest .
We've torn them apart on both occasions this year . If we don't , then we're still moving forward , but it would be important to an achievement under the belt of a quite deserving team .

I 'support' whoever plays them for a few hours. I think it is 66 to 34 Chelsea in terms of % chance of winning, which gives Everton about 4 times more chance than Wimbledon in 1988.

The rivalry on merseyside has become quite nasty over the years .
Not with us older fans ( I'm 40 btw ) but the new kids on the block on both sides are a bit of a let down .
I think Everton are popular because they stand for something different than a lot of teams . We are much more likeable for the right reasons for the most part .

You might be right , ( and thanks ) and many on toffeetalk would agree with you , but we have to believe that we haven't gotten to the final from not being a good side , and we're certainly not going there to visit the Queen :o)
All we can do is keep our fingers crossed .
