Pep always takes cup competitions seriously. Will be a decent side he wants to win. I’m pretty sure Laporte will start however looking at the pitch and coming back from an hamstring injury.. it might do him again.

These are currently our most important players, some cannot be picked anyhow but those who could should be rested for the cup games at the moment.

The other senior players and a couple of the youngsters need to force their way into being in that group.

Ake Laporte Mendy Rodri sterling and mahrez need to get some consistent form going.

Would be the spine for me, unless Delap can play, in which case he’d be in for Jesus. Can’t risk Bernardo, Cancelo, Foden or Gundogan imo but not sure who can play there instead

I hope we play Harwood Belis instead of Garcia but Pep probably won’t.

Excited for this one, love these games in the cup. Hope it’s a good game.
