Anyone got a spare
Pat and all the Cheltenham branch Blues must all be gutted at not being able to goHave bought a ticket. I live in Cheltenham and would have loved to see City playing at Whaddon Road.
I have seen a few Cheltenham games over the years but will want them to lose this one.
See the Bobby Charlton threadAnyone got a spare
Me tooGreat idea. Sorted.
hopefully someone at CTFC reads thisThis is a really nice idea - would have been even better if Cheltenham recorded who'd bought virtual tickets and rewarded them with actual tickets at some point in the future (when it's safe to attend games again). This would be a new ground for me. I would have loved to have gone down for the weekend.
Would be a huge impact. After years of turning in a modest profit and living within our means, we are now looking at a £1m loss this year. Well done allSorted, 500+ people donated already, hope they get near 5000 donations as that would be a great sum of money for them
Try the supporters clubs they always have 2 or 3 going spare.Anyone got a spare
I don’t think people should feel pressure to do this.
City is a wealthy club compared to cheltenham but that’s it . This is the fans doing it not the club.
the comparable wealth divide between Cheltenham and Manchester will be huge.
cheltenham is an affluent market town on the edge of the cotswolds . I am sure there are enough wealthy locals who could buy virtual tickets .
if you have got enough money to buy virtual tickets buy one for some of the greater Manchester clubs which are really struggling and often in deprived areas of gtr manchester.
sorry , I am sure not a popular opinion , but i have been to cheltenham and I have been to oldham !!!
You're right, not a popular opinion, nobody is feeling pressure to do it & everyone can make their own decision.I don’t think people should feel pressure to do this.

It's not all bad for them - some stars have graced the Whaddon Road turf. I remember seeing an ex-England international turning out there - Michael Ricketts of Bolton and Boro fame (was playing for Oldham at the time iirc). It's a great idea if people want to do it. Imagine being a Cheltenham Town fan and being denied the chance to see players like Kev, Sergio, Raz, etc. in the flesh. It's bad enough that we can't see them but for them it might be a once in a generation opportunity.
