Chidi Nwakali

Nwakali transfer almost done:

The agent for several Eaglets has this to say:

"...while Chidiebere Nwakali is already in England with Manchester City. "

Interestingly enought he also added:
"He said he is yet to decide on whether to take Musa Yahaya to Tottenham or Manchester City."

If this is confirmed than Manchester City will basically have the three key players behind Nigeria's all-destructive U17 World Cup performance: Nwakali aka Xavi, Yahaya aka Iniesta, Iheanacho aka Messi.

African cup of Nations every 2 years could have an impact in future years?
It's so good to have Yaya here for the whole season. He has been a big loss in Jan the last years.

Deffo !!!

I think that's the reason Rags don't sign African players.

Hmmm.....

I will be amazed if even one of them comes close to the talents of the above.......however,even if they 'only' achieve the standard of a Cleverly,Carrick and Wellbeck,we will have done very well indeed.

Carrick is decent enough but the other 2 you mentioned are poor and only play for England cos of who their club side are. None of the 3 would get close to our side, apart from maybe in the league cup

My point is......of all the 17yr old wonderkids on the planet, very few actually make it.Hence, while i obviously hope they go on to stardom with us.......even if they aren't good enough for our team but they still achieve the standard of the rag players I mentioned then that will still constitute great success.

hear what you are saying FI, I just wouldn't have used those examples - I guess I am just sick to death of hearing how good such average players as wellbeck, cleverly, jones, smalling etc are - would not get a sniff of being England regulars other than who they play for; same as hearing the media wankfest wanting the united Belgian kid to be world class, when nothing yet has suggested that he is. Sorry, not your fault I hate united and the united loving media
