China v India

This pathetic line in the report sums it up...….
The fighting occurred in the precipitous, rocky terrain of the strategically important Galwan Valley, which lies between China's Tibet and India's Ladakh.

Since when did Tibet become part of China ? oh that's right when troops marched into a peaceful country and seized control. When the world stops supporting a corrupt regime and starts demanding they start returning land/countries they seized then we might have peace in that area. Taiwan is next on the list.

When the Dalai lama did a deal, betrayed his own peopel then fucked of and blagged the world he wasn't a **** who cut and run.

The principle is the same, whatever international treaties subsisted in the early 19th century.

Finding a random island in the ocean during the middle of the imperial age with no one on it and laying claim, is not anywhere near the same as occupying a foreign country, that was actually a country, with their own civilians and national identity, by marching in and holding them against their will.

Our ownership of the Falklands is a totally different thing to our ownership of India, wouldn’t you say?
