so far today I have literally heard that it was £50k up to £600k which tells me either nobody really knows and it probably depends on how much the correspondent wants to smear Labour and lob a dead cat on the table is directly related to the sum they claim applies.

It’s also been reported that it was to fund research, rather than just applying undue influence and bolstering an MP's personal or electoral coffers.
